What does the world need and what can I offer?
There are some things all humans can do.
Smile at someone, Play peekaboo,
Be nice, Pay compliments, Forgive, Laugh.
So simple yet we all have gone off this path.
There is hunger, there is suffering too.
There are trees and there are flowers with blue
So much positive but slowly being destroyed by the negative
The world needs peace.
And that I know.
Our earth will grow,
With each innovative thought.
With every person who gets up
To let that little lady sit with her old pup.
The kindness grows and the humans flourish

Here we go, here we go,
To reinvent the world as we know.
All thought it may be slow.
With every thought of hope, the edge gets further
And the years of humans get longer.
Important values in others. When have my core values been threatened?
The most important value in others, that matter to me are mainly kindness, determination, compassion, and resilience. These are the most important to me because I believe they are the key to a successful life. Kindness is needed because it teaches people how to treat others and how they deserve to be treated. Secondly, determination is needed because it gives peoples a reason to try and be successful. People need determination in relationships and in work because without determination nothing would get done and relationships would fail because they are something that needs to be worked on all the time. Life is not always going to go perfectly. Knowing how to get up and be resilient is extremely important. If people never got up after being knocked down where would our world be?
For example, the banana wars. Resilience was very dominant in the situation because instead of the Caribbean just giving up they started sending their bananas to other places and produced more goods such and avocados.
My core values of compassion and drive, have been threatened this year with all the bombings that have occurred. Because there was nothing I could do personally to help, I felt useless. The idea that one person could choose to harm so many people makes me sick. I wonder where their sanity is with regards to protecting human beings and the concept of freedom of speech? Also, many of these bombings have been tied back to Isis which is mainly in Seria. This is very connected to this year's curriculum because this shows a negative side to globalization. This globalization has therefore created the opportunity for people to travel abroad with ease. This freedom of travel has allowed some to take advantage of the open borders for purposes of full filling their own evil objectives. These few destructive human beings has changed the experience for millions and caused universal caution in traveling not only to dangerous countries but to generally peaceful areas like Europe How anyone can travel anywhere and cause harm but also traveling has opened up so many opportunities for people and so few of the travelers are the travelers that cause harm but those few are damaging the traveling experience for millions.
