What is My Purpose,

And Why am I here?

Although I consider myself to have many Christian beliefs, my beliefs towards our creation mainly originate from a scientific perspective. I do not believe that God was the creator of all. I think that species evolved over billions of years and are still changing and evolving today. Even though I believe that our bodies evolved from mutation over time, I still believe that God built us on the inside, and gave us souls to help establish our destiny.

Although science does not always provide proof, it provides explanations, and that has always been my way of thinking; that you need to be able to explain yourself. I struggle to wrap my head around the idea that humans should only believe in a higher power and what he has created.

I believe that the human species is an amazing thing. I do believe we were all put on this earth to do something but I do not believe we are all going to do things such as cure cancer or solve world hunger. My point of view on why we are here is more of a broad opinion. Many are here to change the life of only one who might do something amazing in their exists. I do believe some are here to just live and enjoy the creation of others.

I am not sure what my reason for existence is but I do believe I will figure it out as my life goes on. As much as I would like to believe that there is a huge reason for my existence. I do not think I am going to change the world for thousands. By this, I do not mean I am not driven and not focusing on making a change, I just think that my change will benefit a few people, not the entire world. For example, I might start a company that will benefit working mothers in Calgary. helping those mothers is enough for me because I know that I am changing their lives and hopefully their children's lives for the better.

What comes after death?
